Parent Teacher League

The Parent Teacher League (PTL) is an association of the parents and teachers at St. Peter’s Lutheran School. All parents who have students at St. Peter’s are automatically part of the PTL.

The PTL works to promote Christian education as well as offer a fellowship link between home and school. The goal is that parents and teachers will be more equipped to provide a Christ-centered education for the children entrusted to our care.

The PTL does this by seeking to:
1. Facilitate programs of parent education.
2. Develop fellowship events that would bring the home and school together.
3. Financially promote Christian education and the educational agencies of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
4. Communicate with the Board for Christian Education

PTL typically meets the third Monday of each month to plan and determine events and activities that will carry out the purpose and objectives stated above. Parents are welcome to attend any of these meetings. Meeting dates will be communicated through the school’s Facebook page and the Friday Note

Typical events include:
July: Swim Party
August: Back to School Open House (with Blessing of the Backpacks)
September: Butter Braids Fundraiser
October: Harvest Party
November: Fundraiser
December: Christmas Caroling
January: Fun Fair
April: Popcorn sales, School Dance
